Why we share their work
Taylor left the mission field and the faith — and kept the wonder.
They grew up on the mission field in Papua, Indonesia, and deconstructed the Christianity they were raised in. Their channel treats what comes next as seriously as what was left behind: relationships, community, and the case for ritual without doctrine. They’re also part of this project, so this page is a little bit ours too.
You get to decide what you keep.

In their words

Taylor is a former missionary kid who grew up on the mission field in Papua, Indonesia. They’ve since deconstructed the Christian faith they were brought up with and now identify as a nontheistic and compassion-forward Satanist. On their YouTube channel, they discuss life and relationships after leaving the church, provide commentary on modern Evangelical culture, and explore the importance of secular spirituality and ritual.

Taylor is very involved with their local community, the Atheist Community of Austin, where they host monthly Religious Studies events focused on the academic study of religion. They also serve as a creator consultant for The Next Phase Project.

"I thought losing my faith was the worst thing that could happen to me, but it turned out to be exactly what I needed to rediscover myself."
— Taylor, The Antibot
